About us

Ljud & Bildmedia AB is all about film equipment and we carry one of the widest range of professional production equipment in northern Europe, regardless of production size or recording format. In our rental inventory you’ll find generator trucks and telescopic camera cranes to some of the world’s most advanced cinema cameras and accessories to complement them. Along our rental operations, we have a constantly growing stock of items for sale and a service department that maintains and repairs our own equipment as well as yours.

Once upon a time

History

In a garage in Åkersberga outside Stockholm sound technician Björn Thisell started renting out his personal sound equipment, delivering all equipment himself in a Chevy truck. A few years later the whole family was involved and soon the garage had to be replaced by a proper warehouse. Since the year 2000 we have moved four times and is now on our fifth location and have also opened an office in Gothenburg.

Our experienced crew is always at hand to answer your questions, show you tips and tricks or try out products. All equipment is tested upon arrival to ensure that our equipment is ready to perform day after day. You can test and prepare your equipment in our Prep lounge before the big day. After our opening hours our 24/7 service guaranties assistance any time of the day should you need additional equipment or if you are having technical difficulties.

World Wide

International Clients

We ship worldwide to our international clients and other rental houses. Usually we can deliver the next day with express freight. We want our global family to feel at home, so we keep a big inventory of lenses that are in feet scale and you can find sizes of our products in both metric and imperial measurements. We also have dedicated booking agents for our international projects.
